──Practices are coming to an end, do you have any memories from the practice room?

Ozeki: In the very beginning we played the “humans and wolves” game. All members played before the practice started for real and it was really fun.

Kishimoto: Yes, it was fun.

Ozeki: Isn’t “humans and wolves” kind of game where you lie and try to deceive others? It was really interesting. I’m glad we could start the practices after we deepened our bonds while playing.

Yamaki: It was really fun that we (Country Girls) could interact with Tsubaki Factory everyday. We received a lot of stimulus, too.

Kishimoto: Because Manaka is my pair, I contact her everyday. Just before the practice started we had “It’s starting soon” kind of exchange and ever since we have been contacting each other everyday.

Yamaki: It’s nice you have a good relationship with Manaka, but you’re a bit rude.

──This is the first play for Country Girls and the first one ever for Ozeki Mai, as well.

Ozeki: That’s right. I was in situation where I didn’t know what kind of thing stage play even is, the only thing I knew was that there’s “kamite” (right side of the stage) and “shimote” (left part of the stage).

Yamaki&Kishimoto: Hahaha!

Ozeki: But for real, I didn’t know anything more. I didn’t know how to remember my lines, I was worried about how to talk loudly. That’s why I consulted Yamaki Risa about it.

──This time you co-act together with Tsubaki Factory, two from Engeki Joshibu and Sudou Maasa, but with whom has your relationship deepened?

Inaba: As I thought, it must be Kishimoto Yumeno, who plays Billy. We’re together since our trainee period and we talked a lot, so I thought this time we’ll become even better friends. We even started to contact each other on daily basis.

Morito: Eh, really?

Inaba: Yes, everyday. In the play Hiroko steadily falls in love with Billy, so I thought that if in reality I gradually come to like Yumeno more, it will look more natural in the play. That’s why [we contact each other everyday].

―It’s the first stage play for you both, what did you think when you heard that Country Girls will play the leading part?

Inaba: It was “What should I do!” kind of feeling. I didn’t even know how to remember the lines so I was full of anxiety. But, because I’ve always wanted to act, I soon became all “I will do my best!”

Morito: I had some spoken lines in songs and did some acting in music videos, but as I end up speaking in monotone pretty quickly, I was aware acting won’t be easy to deal with. So, when I heard about Engeki Joshibu related work, I thought: “Here it comes, huh…”. I thought I need to do my best starting from getting rid of that awareness that it’s going to be hard.
